Josh Glessing enters his first season as President of the Milwaukee Bucks and Fiserv Forum after assuming the role in January of 2026. Prior to joining the Bucks, Glessing served as Chief of Strategy and Development for Haslam Sports Group (HSG) from 2019-26 with a stint as President of Business Operations for HSG portfolio company Columbus Crew (MLS) from 2023-26.

In his role at HSG, Glessing focused on strategic business and growth initiatives for the HSG portfolio of companies and led all merger and acquisition activity, including the identification and execution of opportunities to elevate the HSG portfolio via investment and acquisition.

A member of HSG’s executive team, Glessing oversaw the development and investment strategy of HSG Ventures, an investment vehicle focused on investing in sports, entertainment, media and technology. Select HSG Ventures investments include: WNBA (league-level), Aston Martin Racing (F1), Homage, DudePerfect, StatusPro, Misfits Gaming Group, Courtside VC, Wicket, Jackpot.com and others. Glessing sits on the board of Misfits Gaming Group and is a board observer of StatusPro and Homage on behalf of HSG Ventures. Glessing also led the Mixed-uses real-estate development adjacent to Scott's MiricleGro Stadium in Columbus.

While serving in his role with the Columbus Crew, Glessing directed the club’s business efforts, including revenue generation, fan experience, marketing, events, stadium operations, fan experience and administration – which he also oversaw on an interim basis in 2021. In his first season with the club in 2023, the Crew set franchise records for multiple revenue categories, including corporate partnerships, overall ticketing and premium sales, while the team won its third MLS Cup Championship.

Glessing also led the Crew’s business endeavors for hosting the 2024 MLS All-Star Game, the third in Columbus and first at Lower.com Field; the Crew’s Leagues Cup Showcase match against the English Premier League’s Aston Villa F.C. in July; the 2024 SheBelieves Cup in April; and additional major events in Columbus at Lower.com Field and Historic Crew Stadium.

Prior to joining HSG, Glessing was a Vice President in the Global Sports Finance and Advisory Group within the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs from 2013-19, where he specialized in advisory and finance engagements related to sports franchises, including working with Bucks ownership in the financing of Fiserv Forum. In this capacity, he represented ownership groups in leagues across the world including the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, EPL and Serie A. He previously advised states and local governments on large-scale capital projects with PFM Group.

Glessing was named to Sports Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 class of 2024, a prestigious award for executives and other decision-makers who represent the present and future of the sports industry. A native of Wisconsin, Glessing earned a bachelor’s degree in public affairs from Indiana University, and he currently resides in the Milwaukee area with his wife, Sarah, daughter, Greta, and son, Charlie.
