Meet Our Inspiring Lineup of Speakers

Jim Popp is the President and CEO of Johnson Financial Group, a diversified financial services company comprised of Johnson Bank and Johnson Wealth, Inc. Jim joined the organization in 2017 as President of Johnson Bank and became President and CEO of the holding company in January 2018.

Experience & Education

Jim spent close to three decades with JP Morgan Chase, where he held the position of Market President. In this role, he led teams across Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, and Kansas. Jim's academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in economics from Vanderbilt University and a master’s degree in finance from DePaul University.

Community Involvement

Jim is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He serves on the boards of several prominent organizations, including the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC), the Greater Milwaukee Committee (GMC), and the Marcus Performing Arts Center. Past board service includes Children’s Wisconsin (9 yrs.); Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee (15 yrs.); and United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties (8 yrs.). His involvement in these organizations demonstrates his dedication to improving the quality of life for residents and supporting local economic development.
